For each game of the series, as a part of the sponsorship, SAIC will underwrite hundreds of Nationals tickets and donate them to partnering nonprofit organizations, including Luke's Wings, The Mission Continues, Operation Homefront, Pentagon Memorial Fund, and USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore (USO-Metro).

SAIC’s partnering nonprofit organizations will distribute these tickets to members of each organization including, but not limited to, active duty military personnel, reservists, retirees, veterans, wounded warriors, and their families.

The 2016 Patriotic Series includes the following games:

  • Military Appreciation Day – Wednesday, April 27 vs. Philadelphia Phillies at 7:05 p.m.
  • Memorial Day – Sunday, May 29 vs. St. Louis Cardinals at 1:35 p.m.
  • Independence Day – Monday, July 4 vs. Milwaukee Brewers at 11:05 a.m.
  • Heroes Day – Sunday, Sept. 11 vs. Philadelphia Phillies at 1:35 p.m.

In celebration of Independence Day, SAIC will recognize USO-Metro, which provides programs and services to military members and their families living and traveling throughout the Washington-Baltimore region. Representatives of USO-Metro will join SAIC employees in a salute to the holiday with a large flag unfurling during the performance of the National Anthem.

Heroes Day, the Nationals’ Sept. 11, 2001 remembrance, will honor Pentagon Memorial Fund by remembering the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, as well as recognizing the resolve and compassion demonstrated by our fellow Americans in the wake of disaster.
