Reston, Va., September 7, 2022 – Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a $200 million single-award task order to conduct research, analysis and assessments for the Forces Command (FORSCOM) G-2-Intelligence, Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWF). SAIC was awarded this contract under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoD IAC) multiple-award contract (MAC) vehicle. These DoD IAC MAC task orders (TOs) are awarded by the U.S. Air Force's 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron to develop and create new knowledge for the enhancement of the DTIC repository and the R&D and S&T community.
“Our team is ready to support FORSCOM G-2 as they produce combat-ready and globally responsive Army military intelligence forces,” said Bob Genter, president of SAIC’s Defense & Civilian Sector. “SAIC will introduce artificial intelligence and training, and operationally-focused innovations to assist their mission effectiveness and reach.”
Under this task order, SAIC will develop and provide valuable training and recommend readiness procedures to increase the timeliness and accuracy of intelligence, weather and security for the warfighter and mission commanders. This effort supports the modernization and transformation of the U.S. Army’s military intelligence units and ensures FORSCOM G-2 is capable of continuous mission operations and requirements in alignment with the IWF Intelligence Concept 2028.
