SAIC Hosts Small Business Networking Session

Reston, Va. -- Science Applications International Corp.'s (NYSE:SAIC) Small Business Development and Utilization Office (SBDUO) hosted a Veteran-Owned and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB/SDVOSB) in a recent networking session aimed at promoting future opportunities for potential teaming agreements.

“SAIC’s partnership with the small business community is something we have valued for a long time,” said Jim Scanlon, SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the Defense Systems Customer Group. “Sessions like this one are extremely important for readiness and mission sustainment, and these relationships with small businesses help position us to better protect our country.”

During the session, VOSB/SDVOSB attendees shared their capabilities with SAIC leaders and proposed future opportunities for potential teaming agreements.

More than 60 small businesses attended the networking session, representing a broad range of capabilities and past performance experience spanning across the federal, state and local, and commercial markets.
